Make your necklace precision-shaped or wild and wonky in your favorite colorway, long or short, dressy or casual, with edging dangles or not. Fancy ribbons and yarns are sandwiched between layers of soluble fabric and stitched by hand with Caron Watercolors and/or metallic threads. Embellish with beads such as size 8 seed beads and Czech beads in various shapes. Dangles or picot edging with seed beads can be added if you choose. To extend around the neck, larger beads are strung with a hook closure. Students will be asked to email color preferences. There will be additional materials to choose from in class if you decide to change colors. You can request large beads for everything. Most people can complete the necklace in an 8 hour day.
