The Cabarrus Art Guild - Studio LL-102
The Cabarrus Art Guild is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization that has serving its community for over 50 years.
In October 2019, the Guild became tenants of ClearWater.
The Guild hosts meetings/ demonstrations on the 2nd Sunday of the month (they post their events on their website, CabarrusArtGuild.org and on social media). These events are held in the Greenway Gallery located on the Lower Level of the ClearWater facility (enter through double glass doors facing Kerr Street). Each month brings a new topic of discussion or demonstration, connected to many different mediums or types of art or art appreciation. Free and open to the public, these events are quite popular and there is no need to pre-register.
Open Art Tuesday
The Guild welcomes you to join us at Open Art Tuesdays at the ClearWater Arts Center & Studios (enter through the double glass doors facing Kerr Street, called the Greenway Gallery).
Bring your lunch and drink, bring a project you are working on and your supplies. Or bring work you'd like to share and discuss. We start at 10am and run until 3pm, stopping at 12noon to eat and catch up. This is a working, weekly meeting, each Tuesday, to work with and share with artists and like-minded people who appreciate creativity. Don’t have a project? Drop by to see what local artists are creating. Everyone is welcome to join. This is a free activity and does not require pre-registration. Details are on our website.
In addition, many of the Guild members teach art classes, on various topics, in the LL-102 studio (Lower Level) that the Guild occupies, on Saturdays and sometimes on weekdays.
You can see more information about the Cabarrus Art Guild activities, join the guild, or sign-up for the free monthly newsletter on their website: http://www.cabarrusartguild.org.
